Santa's Village: Available 847-441-4420

Here was an unexpected detour on our trip to meet with Sears on Tuesday.  Thanks to Nicolas for indulging my short expedition into childhood lost.

Santa's Village was a regular sponsor of Bozo's Circus on WGN back in the day. Ringmaster Ned used to promote the living bejeezes out of it. It shocked me to learn that it was still in business until 2006. I am sure Dave and Steve remember it, but I'd be curious to know if any of you under 40 have heard of it. Here is a memorial website.

Next stop... Bargaintown... Bargaintown... Bargaintown!!! Where toys are us!!!

And this one is a real heart breaker.
